These timing belts are produced as open lengths from polyurethane and, in this form, are primarily used as the connection to the moving part of the machine.
Thanks to fast, precise and smooth movements in all directions, these timing belts are used in linear drives in handling technology, industrial robots, storage retrieval equipment and cutting and drawing plotters. These PU timing belts are excellent for bridging large centre distances and permit speeds of up to 10 m/s.
Please refer to the respective data sheet for more detailed properties of the individual timing belts.
AT
The AT profile is a further development of the standard T profile and, in particular, provides higher tooth shear strength resulting from the increased tooth volume and stronger tension members.
Polyurethane timing belts with an AT profile feature improved performance, a more favourable tooth mesh and more precise transmission of movement when using synchronous pulleys.
BRECO® M
This BRECO® polyurethane timing belt with AT profile is produced in open lengths with the tension members lying parallel to the belt edge. The timing belts are primarily used in linear drives, which convert rotational movements into linear movements.

BRECOmove
The BRECOmove timing belt demonstrates its strengths, in addition to high power transmission, particular in linear technology applications.
The very high stiffness of the belt is the basis for excellent dynamic behaviour with short settling times and high positioning accuracy.
This makes BRECOmove an excellent alternative to comparable timing belts, offering great potential for optimisation.
Selecting a narrower BRECOmove timing belt as an alternative to a standard timing belt makes a more compact drive design possible. Depending on the circumferential forces actually to be transmitted in the application, it is advisable to use a material with higher strength or an additional surface coating for the toothed pulleys.
ATL
The further development of the standard T profile led to the AT profile, above all to achieve higher tooth load bearing strength. The tooth volume was increased and the tension members strengthened as well.
The ATL profile is based on the AT profile but features a tension member that is stronger and more powerful than that of an AT profile.
This BRECO® M polyurethane timing belt is available in open lengths and is ideal for use in linear applications.
T
The T profile is regarded as the classic amongst timing belts. This profile is classified according to DIN 7721 and, thanks to its trapezoidal profile, is ideal for standard drive applications and high bending stresses.
These PU timing belts are produced as open lengths and, thanks to their precise positioning, are predominantly used in linear drives.
BRECO® M
This BRECO® PU timing belt with a classic T profile is produced in open lengths and is characterised by tension members that always lie parallel to the belt edge. This type of timing belt is primarily used in linear drives, which convert rotational movements into linear movements.

HTD
The HTD (High Torque Drive)profile of polyurethane timing belts produced as open lengths is characterised above all by its special tooth height and curvilinear tooth geometry. This timing belt profile offers an extremely good guarantee against the teeth ratcheting and is therefore excellent for the transmission of high torques.
CONTI SYNCHRODRIVE®
CONTI SYNCHRODRIVE® timing belts facilitate a wide range of customer-specific drive solutions, from linear engineering to individual transport solutions. A large variety of versions and adaptation options ensures that these timing belts have diverse uses in very different fields.
The properties of CONTI SYNCHRODRIVE® timing belts provide for possible applications in linear and transport engineering, as well as in lifting systems and car washes.
Imperial
Polyurethane timing belts produced as open lengths are classified according to DIN/ISO 5296 and are characterised by an imperial pitch. These PU timing belts are suitable for use in imperial systems.

STD
The STD (Super Torque Drive) profile of polyurethane timing belts produced as open lengths features an arch-shaped geometry. It offers optimum meshing, is smooth running and quiet and therefore primarily suitable for use at high belt speeds.
CONTI SYNCHRODRIVE® timing belts are ideal for a number of diverse customer-specific drive solutions, from linear engineering to individual transport solutions. Diverse versions and adaptation options ensure a wide range of diverse uses.
N10
Specifically designed for self-tracking systems, the nubbed belt N10 complements the range of PU timing belts produced in open lengths. Its high tracking stability means that there is no need to fit side flanges. The nubbed belt stays in complete contact with the pulley and ensure the positive meshing of the teeth in both running directions.
The CONTI SYNCHRODRIVE® N10 nubbed belt is ideal for use in transport and linear engineering, for instance with the positioning of door and gate opening systems.

Timing belts made with renewable raw materials
BRECOgreen / BRECOFLEXgreen
This name stands for a range of timing belts that will not only benefit the customers who use them but also do their bit to help preserve the planet in general. With the BRECOgreen and BRECOFLEXgreen ranges of timing belts, we are the first belt manufacturer to take a step beyond merely creating another product. We have used the word “green” in the names of these products to highlight the optimised use of materials, with renewable materials making up 37%.
At BRECO, it is particularly important to us that these materials are not taken from the human food chain. Since the load-bearing capacity and service life of BRECOgreen/BRECOFLEXgreen belts match those of belts manufactured from oilbased thermoplastic polyurethane, we can absolutely guarantee their fulloperational reliability.
Long-term market studies have shown that even small steps in the right direction are important. They encourage others to follow suit and help to develop new materials and techniques that can be transferred to other areas. We continue to invest all our energy in innovative technology so that we can help to preserve and improve the environment, climate and living conditions.
The “green” material is available for all BRECO and BRECOFLEX types, regardless of their pitch and profile. Please specify the material TPUEC1 in the request.
