Hollow rubber springs

Hollow rubber springs are used as the sole suspension, additional spring suspension but also as stop suspension or combination suspension. Various designs of these hollow rubber springs are used for impact, vibration and oscillation isolation in vehicle, machine and plant construction. The following standard compounds are available for hollow rubber springs: 55 Shore; OT55, 60 Shore; RTE II, 70 Shore; OT 70, 75 Shore; 2765.

Properties:

  • Low natural frequency by large spring stroke
  • High end and peak forces are possible
  • Energy absorption possible by characteristic curve
  • Maintenance-free with a long service life

Please refer to the respective data sheet for more detailed properties of the individual rubber hollow springs.

Barrel hollow rubber springs TO

These barrel-shaped hollow rubber springs TO have linear starting stiffness and are stable from buckling. They are characterised by their absorption of transverse forces and can be used for peak forces up to 100 KN. These hollow rubber springs are available with a height of 18 mm to 180 mm and with a diameter from 23 mm to 250 mm.

Multiple tied hollow rubber springs ME

These multiple tied hollow rubber springs ME have a lower starting stiffness depending on the number of ties compared to barrel-shaped hollow rubber springs TO and simple tied hollow rubber springs EE. However at the same time they offer longer spring strokes and can be used for forces up to 25 KN. These hollow rubber springs are available with a height of 120 mm to 235 mm and with a diameter from 66 mm to 135 mm.

Simple tied hollow rubber springs EE

These simple tied hollow rubber springs EE have a lower starting stiffness compared to barrel hollow rubber springs. However at the same time they offer greater end suspension and can be used for forces up to 50 KN. These hollow rubber springs are available with a height of 70 mm to 132 mm and with a diameter from 80 mm to 110 mm.
