ACE stop buffers or structured buffers are maintenance-free, ready-to-install elements used for damping. They consist of a co-polyester elastomer, characterised by a decreasing damping curve with simultaneously high energy absorption at the start of the stroke. The low inherent warming of the material guarantees constant damping in the temperature range of 40 °C to 90 °C. Their lower inherent weight and long service life makes these stop buffers an alternative solution to hydraulic end position damping, providing the moving mass does not need to be stopped positionally precisely and the energy does not have to be 100% dissipated.Properties:

The ACE TUBUS TA stop buffer is axial damping and compact yet offers strong force absorption. This stop buffer is maintenance-free and ready-to-install. The TUBUS TA was specifically developed for energy absorption within a range of 2 Nm to 2,951 Nm and has a space-saving design with sizes from 12 mm to 116 mm. These stop buffers are suitable for use as end position dampers in linear axes in toolmaking and machine tools or also in hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

This stop buffer consists of a solid design and thus offers higher force and energy absorption with a shorter damping distance. The TUBUS TR-HD was specifically developed for energy absorption within a range of 230 Nm to 5,208 Nm with strokes of 12 mm to 44 mm.
